TC Energy to continue pre-development work on the Ontario Pumped Storage Project
TC Energy and prospective partners Saugeen Ojibway Nation are encouraged by the support of the Government of Ontario and the continuation of development work on the Ontario Pumped Storage Project. The project is a made-in-Ontario solution that will meet the electricity needs of the province and deliver local jobs and economic growth.

Made-in-Ontario Pumped Storage will enhance province’s energy supply mix
TORONTO, Ontario — Jan. 11, 2024 — News Release — TC Energy Corporation announced today that it will continue to advance the Ontario Pumped Storage Project (Project) with its prospective partner Saugeen Ojibway Nation, and begin work with the Ministry of Energy (Ministry) and the Ontario Energy Board (OEB), to establish a potential long-term revenue framework for the Project. Further, TC Energy and Saugeen Ojibway Nation will assist with the Ministry’s evaluation of the Project’s broader societal and economic benefits.
Meaford cycles beyond goals in Ride for Mental Health
In partnership with Wounded Warriors Canada (WWC), TC Energy hosted the Ride for Mental Health (RMH) in Meaford, gathering 30 volunteers, including 16 riders, raising more than $18,000 in total, exceeding their $5,000 goal.

TORONTO, Ontario — July 10, 2023 — News Release — TC Energy Corporation welcomes today’s announcement from the Government of Ontario, which outlines a sustainable road map towards achieving an emission-free electricity sector. As part of the announcement, the Ministry of Energy will now commence a final evaluation on the proposed Ontario Pumped Storage Project (the Project) and render a decision by the end of the year.
